Relapsed NK/T-cell - Pembrolizumab

My 15-year-old son was only in remission for 3 months before his relapse was confirmed. He woke up on Monday morning 11 September 2017 and said he had an ulcer. You didn’t need a medical degree to know it was no ulcer. We saw his consultant at clinic the next day and was admitted for biopsy straight away.

He started a new immunotherapy treatment on 22 September called Pembrolizumab which is 30 min IV every 3 weeks for up to 2years. He and his older brother have been tissue typed for possible stem cell transplant.
