Looking for info on rive chemo and stem cell transplant

Can anybody help me I’m about to start RIVE chemo and stem cell transplant in a few weeks not sure what to expect so I’m looking for advice off anyone with any experience of this

Hi r-ive, is a similar chemo to r-ice just the one drug is a different version, not a regime I have had but from others who have had it whilst not nice it is do-able, I believe its given over several days as an inpatient.

they will then harvest your stem cells which takes about 5 to 6 hours sitting in a chair and then you will be given a date for the transplant, about 6 to 8 days for conditioning treatment and then the transplant is given which means you get your cells infused back via a drip line.
Recovery is around 10 to 14 days after this and you get to go home.

hopefully someone will post who has had r-ice or r-ive then you can ask more specific questions.
